Prof. Dr. Ronald Bottlender

Professor Dr. Ronald Bottlender is a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy and Medical Director of the LWL Clinics in Lippstadt and Warstein. He looks back on a long clinical and academic career and received his habilitation in psychiatry from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. There, he helped establish one of the first early detection clinics for psychotic disorders and subsequently served as Chief Physician of a psychiatric clinic in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Professor Bottlender is one of Germany’s leading experts on depression and addiction and has received multiple awards in the FOCUS physician rankings. With his experience in research, clinical management, and education, he strengthens the scientific advisory board of the Sernitas Group, contributing his expertise on clinical quality, care, and mental health.
