Ladies and Gentlemen,

Respectful and trusting interaction with people is a fundamental aspect of our work – and is also reflected in our name. Sernitas is composed of the Latin words servitium (service) and humanitas (humanity) and describes what drives us: service to the people. But this attitude remains genuine only when it is demonstrated in action. For me personally, this attitude is particularly evident where people have to leave their familiar world behind. Leaving one's homeland is a courageous step. It is like a tree leaving its familiar soil to put down new roots in foreign ground. It must adapt to new climatic conditions to regain stability and strength. This metaphor has been with me since my own childhood.

When I had to put down new roots at the age of eleven, adapting was still an adventure. For my mother, however, it was a daily challenge – a new language, a foreign culture, a different rhythm of life. I remember the doctor's appointments, the visits to government offices, the many situations where words failed us. I was an interpreter, a bridge builder, a mediator. These experiences shaped me – they showed me how crucial understanding, structure, and support are for a genuine chance at lasting success. And that's precisely where the Sernitas story begins. Today, with the Sernitas Group, this experience has given rise to an internationally operating group of companies that connects people, institutions, and systems. We create structures that perceive people and organizations in their entirety – whether as organizations, government partners, employers, patients, clients, or professionals.
